President’s Message — Josephine “Josie” Adame I would like to begin by saying.. Happy Holidays to all! It is the most wonderful time of the year! Winter is the time for holidays of giving thanks, wishing well, and bringing in the New Year. Our thanksgiving dinner was wonderful and I would like to thank all of you who participated in making the occasion special for all who attended. December 4th’s early Christmas with Santa was outstanding! I’m sure all who attended enjoyed themselves as much as I did! Over 60 children and families who attended seemed to be impressed with Our Santa and his bowl full of jelly! Thank you all who made this possible! Let’s not forget our season finale at the post on New Years Eve with DJ Pete Armenta, our musical entertainment! We will have Tasty Appetizers’ to go with your merry cheer and a great time ringing in the New Year!
CANCER—Rhonda Montgomery Flo Brooks has made a beautiful handmade quilt and donated it to the Auxiliary. We are going have raffle tickets to anyone that would like a chance on the beautiful quilt. The quilt tickets will be available at our January 14th 2012 Meeting. The drawing will be held at our St. Patrick’s Corned Beef & Cabbage Dinner in March. Please contact Rhonda Montgomery for tickets at 983-0466. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. Cancer is not just for women, men get cancer too. Know the warning signs and check with your doctor if you are not sure. The Ladies Auxiliary Cancer Program is funded 100% by our donations. We would like to encourage you to send in a donation to our Cancer program. Auxiliary Membership Years We want to thank the following members for all of their years of dedication and support to this Auxiliary. You have helped to mold this Auxiliary to what it is today.
