Chaplain’s Corner Robert Montgomery
It is my sad duty to inform you of the death of one of our members. Chris Totten passed away in November. His wife, Laura was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary before she passed away last year. Our condolences to the Totten family. To those who have lost a loved one you have our deepest sympathy. If there is something we can do to assist you please do not hesitate to contact us. Rudy M. has had a broken arm and it was in a plaster cast but is now in a brace. Thank goodness he's feeling better. To those who are ill we want to wish you a speedy recovery. Please continue to pray for the children at our National Home, our service personnel around the world and for our government leaders along with the Post, Ladies and Men's Auxiliary members.
Auxiliary Chaplain's Corner Dolores Vega
On Oct. 22nd, Quartermaster Louis Valverde and I went to the Gospel Rescue Mission and delivered 15 large bags of clothing and shoes that our Post and ladies & Men’s Aux. donated. Upon hearing of our efforts several people brought in more donations so on Dec. 2nd, President Josie and I delivered a second load. Our donations were greatly appreciated by their staff. Thanks to all who donated and God bless you. To all who have been ill, we wish you a speedy recovery. To all who have lost a loved one, we offer our deepest sympathy. “Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.” Mathew 25.40
